Pleasantville Music Theater Presents Westchester Teen Idol In Irvington

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pleasantville Music Theater will present its 8th annual Westchester Teen Idol competition on Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Irvington Town Hall Theater.

More than 100 teens sang for the preliminary judges last month with 25 of them making it into the final show. The judges for this year’s competition will be Dan Montez, a distinguished world renowned opera singer and director of the Taconic Opera Company; Broadway veteran Angela DeCicco, and pop performer and Broadway star Brian Gallagher.

 "All three of these judges have ties to Westchester in some way, and have volunteered to help with this fundraising event," said producer Ray and Carol Arrucci.

The Master of Ceremonies will be Peter Kramer, a writer for The Journal News known for his annual spring interviews of teens in their high school theatrer productions.
