“Our family has been involved with Hope’s Door since 1990. As a member of the Junior League’s Domestic Violence Teen Education Committee, I made presentations at high schools and middle schools and was a facilitator in “Love Shouldn’t Hurt” teen dating symposiums in an effort to prevent dating violence," said Penney Klingman.
The Emcee will be Kenny Polcari, director of equities at O’Neil Securities and equity markets commentator/Contributing Editor CNBC.
The evening will include a live auction that includes a package of two tickets to the "Hamilton" in June with a night at a hotel in the city and dinner; a week in Italy; and a vintage diamond bracelet, as well as silent auction items. Dinner and dancing will feature a DJ.
“This year’s Fund-a-Need will raise vitally needed funds for a new roof and renovation for the Hope’s Door Shelter’s ‘Children’s Cottage,’ as well as for our Love Shouldn’t Hurt teen program and its annual symposium,” said gala co-chair Caroline Shepherd.
