The trailer, stolen from a North East home sometime between 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, and 8:35 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, was found and recovered by Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Detectives, the Sheriff's Office announced.
More information about where it was found and whether any suspects were charged was not made public as of Tuesday, March 18.

Original Report: Authorities in Dutchess County are searching for a trailer stolen from a residence as well as the pick-up truck believed to be hauling it.
The theft happened sometime between 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, and 8:35 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, when an unknown suspect or suspects stole a 2018 Diamond black tandem axle 24-foot v-nose cargo trailer from a property on Willoughby Lane in North East, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday, March 17.
The trailer, which was registered in New York (CH26764) with VIN #53NBE202XJ1060424, contained Milwaukee tools and electrical equipment at the time of the theft.
Detectives have identified a suspect vehicle seen hauling the stolen trailer on surveillance footage. The vehicle is believed to be a light-colored Dodge Ram pickup truck of an unknown model with an unknown registration. Footage captured the truck traveling southbound on State Route 22 through the Town of Amenia and Town of Dover before turning onto Pleasant Ridge Road in Wingdale, the Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that could help locate the stolen trailer or identify the suspect.
