Man Rescued From Watery Tunnel Under Train Station In Westchester Thanks to quick action from first responders, a man was rescued from a watery tunnel underneath a Westchester train station just before the incoming tide came in.  The rescue happened on Saturday, March 16 at around 1 p.m., when Yonkers Police and firefighters received a report of a man screaming for help from a tunnel underneath the Yonkers Train Station. Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car While Crossing Road In Westchester A 39-year-old man was injured after being hit by a car in Westchester, police said.  The crash happened on Monday, March 11 at around 2 a.m., when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Yonkers in the area of Elm Street and Oak Street, according to Yonkers Police Sergeant Robert Spink.  Arriving officers found a 39-year-old man with an injured right ankle caused by the crash, which had happened while he was crossing the road.  The driver of the vehicle that hit the man stayed at the scene and met with police. 15-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Being Struck While Crossing Road In Westchester A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing a road in Westchester. The crash happened on Thursday, March 7 just before 3 p.m., when a pedestrian was hit in the area of Yonkers Avenue and Dunwoodie Street in Yonkers, according to Yonkers Police Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio.  Arriving officers found the teenager with serious injuries.
