Westchester County has hit a new benchmark as it continues to be among the leaders in New York in administering the COVID-19 vaccine. As of Tuesday, Aug. 3, 80 percent of adult residents 18 and over living in Westchester have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, the seventh most among all counties in New York, health officials said. A police officer on patrol in Westchester was in the right place at the right time and helped a motorist driving the wrong way avoid a crash.
