Local law enforcement agencies collaborated in a joint effort to reduce the number of impaired drivers on Dutchess County roadways as part of a High Visibility Community Engagement Campaign that ran from Thursday, March 16 to Sunday, March 19.  The four-day effort resulted in the arrests of 23 persons for various DWI-related charges. Man Nabbed For Stealing $1K In Merchandise From Local Vendor New York State Police troopers busted a man who allegedly stole more than $1,000 in merchandise from a Dutchess County vendor. An investigation into the stolen merchandise that was launched last year led to the arrest of Ellenville resident John Keelyn, 38, who allegedly stole from a vendor in Wappinger without paying for it. Keelyn was arrested this week and charged with a felony count of fourth-degree grand larceny. Following arraignment in the Village of Wappingers Falls Court, Keelyn was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $250 cash bail. Keelyn is due back in court on Tuesd…
