Teen Caught With Over $90K In Stolen US Treasury Checks In New Rochelle: Police A 17-year-old boy was hit with felony charges after he was caught with dozens of stolen US Treasury checks in Westchester following his attempted escape from traffic stops, police said. The events leading to the teen's arrest began just after 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, when authorities in New Rochelle were alerted of a vehicle entering the city that had previously fled from a traffic stop in New York City, according to New Rochelle Police Captain J. New York Landlord Sentenced For Tax Evasion A landlord with properties in Connecticut and New York has been sentenced after admitting to failing to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes.
