Man Sentenced For Fatally Shooting Brother In Hudson Valley A man who admitted intentionally killing his brother in the Hudson Valley has been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for the crime. George Bawn, 38, of Blooming Grove, was sentenced by Orange County Court Judge Craig Stephen Brown in connection with the shooting death of his brother, James Bawn, 35, on Feb. 6, at Mountain Lodge Park, in the Town of Blooming Grove, according to the Orange County State Attorney's Office. Man Admits To Shooting, Killing Brother In Hudson Valley A 38-year-old man has admitted to shooting and killing his brother inside an area home during a domestic dispute. George Bawn, 38, pleaded guilty on Thursday in Orange County Court to second-degree murder following his arrest for shooting his brother, James, 35, on Feb. 6. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Brother's Murder A 37-year-old man from Blooming Grove was charged with murder on Tuesday, Feb. 6, in connection with the shooting death of his brother, according to state police. State Police in Monroe arrested George Bawn for second-degree murder, a class A Felony, after a domestic dispute inside his residence. At about 3:54 p.m. on Tuesday,  state police and officers from the Town of Blooming Grove Police Department responded to 8 Pioneer Trail in the Mountain Lodge section of Blooming Grove for a 911 report of shots fired.
