17-Year-Old Shot In Stomach, Then Arrested In Westchester: Police A 17-year-old boy who was shot in the stomach in Westchester was later arrested following the incident, police said.  The incident happened on Sunday afternoon, April 23 in Yonkers, when police responded to the area of Van Cortlandt Park Avenue between Thurman Street and Lakeside Drive and found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound in his stomach, according to Yonkers Police Lieutenant Dean Politopoulos.  The victim was then taken to a local trauma center in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.  The area of the shooting was then blocked off and author…
