Flood Advisory: Heavy Rain, Lightning, Thunder As Storms Move Through Area This story has been updated. Showers and thunderstorms moving across the area have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Flood Advisory for Westchester and Putnam counties Thursday morning. There have also been some traffic delays, including on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Kisco, following a crash in the area of the Croton Avenue Bridge in Mount Kisco that occurred just before 7 p.m. Dangerous lightning, thunder and heavy rainfall have accompanied the round of storms.
