Car Crashes Through School Wall In Westchester: Students Now Being Re-Routed Students are being re-routed after a vehicle crashed into their Westchester school building, creating a gaping hole in the wall.  The incident happened in Yonkers on Tuesday morning, Oct. 10, when a motorist lost control of their vehicle and crashed into the Waring Avenue side of Yonkers Public School 9 at 53 Fairview St., Yonkers Police announced.  The collision created a gaping hole in the school's kitchen and knocked bricks from the exterior wall.  Although the school suffered damage, luckily, the incident happened before students arrived and resulted in no injuries …
