Man Dies After Becoming Trapped Under Excavator In Westchester This story has been updated.  A 59-year-old man was killed after an excavator rolled on top of them on a residential Northern Westchester road, police said. The incident happened on Friday, Oct. 27 around 2:15 p.m., when the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department responded to an excavator rollover on Baptist Church Road.  According to Yorktown Police, a 59-year-old man who had been working with a local tree company had become trapped underneath an excavator he was standing next to.
