Teens Rescued After Saving Dog At Westchester Lake A pair of 18-year-olds who jumped into the Cranberry Lake Preserve to rescue their dog wound up needing rescuing themselves. The two teens, each of Port Chester, were spotted struggling in the freezing water by a passerby, who called local police around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.  The couple had gotten themselves and the dog -- who had fallen through the ice -- out of the lake before first responders arrived.
