A man has been hit with several grand larceny charges after allegedly stealing from unlocked vehicles at a train station in the Hudson Valley, and in two cases, even stealing the vehicles themselves. A Fairfield County man is facing charges in Westchester after allegedly taking photos under the skirt of an unexpecting woman on a Metro-North train, authorities announced. Greenwich, Connecticut resident Majid Hedayati, age 66, has been arraigned on a felony count of second-degree unlawful surveillance after taking photos of a female passenger in Westchester in September, according to the Westchester County District Attorney. Trapped Rafters Rescued From Fast-Moving Hudson Valley River
First responders came to the aid of a pair of rafters from Long Island who were trapped in a river in the Hudson Valley, authorities announced. First responders from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, Wassaic Fire Department, and Town of Amenia EMS were dispatched to a stretch of Ten Mile River at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, where there was a report of a man and woman in the middle of the river holding on to a log.
