After helping to lead his embattled football team to a state championship, New Rochelle High School assistant varsity coach Raymond Rhett, Jr. has been named the permanent replacement for former longtime coach Lou DiRienzo. The New Rochelle Board of Education announced this week that Rhett was officially taking over the Huguenots after he and fellow assistant coach Greg Foster took over the team when DiRienzo got benched amid a police investigation.
