Remains Found Near Area Diner Confirmed To Be Woman Who Went Missing A skull and human remains found behind an area diner have been confirmed to be that of a missing woman. Sheriff's deputies responded to the Putnam Diner on Saturday, Feb. 1, on Route 22 in Patterson after receiving a call that a human skull had been found in the woods, said the Sheriff's Office. When deputies arrived, they were met by a 35-year-old Carmel man who told deputies he was walking through the woods when he saw what he believed to be a human skull, the department said.
