HS Athlete Who Died After Falling Through Ice In Hudson Valley Remembered For 'Amazing Smile'
A teen who died after falling through the ice at a park in the Hudson Valley is being remembered for his "amazing smile," and " infectious laughter."
Dutchess County resident Noah Michael Thompson, age 17, of Amenia, died Friday, Feb. 10, at Sharon Hospital in Litchfield County, Connecticut, after falling through the ice at the Taconic State Park in the village of Millerton, located in the Town of North East.
Noah was a high school student at Webutuck High School in Amenia and was expecting to graduate this spring, according to his obituary.

Beloved Mother, Teacher In Westchester Dies At 41
A beloved mother and teacher who was a lifelong Westchester resident has died at age 41.
Valerie Cirillo Bunch, who lived in Tarrytown, was raised in Irvington.
She worked as a preschool teacher, nanny for many families, and as a postpartum doula.
She died on Tuesday, March 30.
She is survived by her husband for 11 years, Sean David Bunch; her children Cole, Donte, and Giselle; sisters Melissa Cirillo and Samantha (Randoln) Hidalgo; nieces and nephews Ashley, Mia, Dorian, Milo, and Ryder; and her father-in-law Donald R Bunch.

Sean Geraghty, Longtime Westchester Resident, Dies At 55
Sean Geraghty, a longtime resident of Westchester, died on Sunday, Sept. 1 at the age of 55.
Originally from the village of Schrule in County Mayo, Ireland, Sean lived in Eastchester and was the beloved father of Conor, Kayla and Graham. He was formerly married to Brenda Nangle Geraghty.
In addition to being survived by many nieces and nephews, Sean was the dear brother of Tom (Ann) Geraghty, Mary (John) Murray, Claire (John) Carter, Carmel (Padraig) Consedine and Helen (Brendan) Halligan.

Traffic Alert Issued For Funeral Of Off-Duty Nypd Officer From New Rochelle
There will be several road closures in southern Westchester this week as the community lays NYPD officer Brian Kessler to rest after he was killed in a head-on crash last week.
On Wednesday, Jan. 16, Kessler, a New Rochelle resident, was driving home from an overnight shift at 1 Police Plaza at approximately 8:20 a.m. when he struck a city Parks Department garbage truck on Shore Road in Pelham Bay.
