The charter bus company involved in a deadly highway crash in New York that killed two teachers and injured dozens of marching band students is facing the first of likely multiple lawsuits, CNN reports.
Lawrence Doreson, the father of an injured 14-year-old Farmingdale High School student, sued Regency Transportation and driver Lisa Schaffer for negligence Thursday, Sept. 28, accusing both of “reckless and careless acts,” according to the outlet.

Woman Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center After Crash Between Car, Tractor-Trailer
A Hudson Valley woman was seriously injured following a crash with a tractor-trailer.
The crash took place in Orange County around 11:15 a.m., Thursday, June 1 in the town of Newburgh.
According to Lt, Peter Talarico, of the town of Newburgh Police, officers on the scene found an accident involving a 2008 Infinity and a 2002 tractor-trailer.
