A young woman killed in a horrific Connecticut crash earlier this week was the first child and only daughter of a former NBA player. Tiara Wheeler was 24 years old. Fairfield County resident James "Jimmy" McGrath, of Shelton, is being remembered as a "beloved" student-athlete at Fairfield College Preparatory School who was a disciplined, determined, and aggressive multi-sport athlete. Underage Drinking Bust Includes 93 Fairfield University Students
Police busted more than 100 underage drinkers inside a Norwalk bar, most of them Fairfield University students. The bust took place around 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Johnny Utah's at 80 Washington St., when the Norwalk Police Special Services Division and agents from the Connecticut Liquor Control Commission conducted liquor compliance checks within the city, police said.
