Four people were killed and nine others injured after an SUV crashed into a store in New York.

The Long Island incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, in Suffolk County in the hamlet of Deer Park.
The business, Hawaii Nail and Spa, is located in a strip mall at 796 Grand Blvd.
All four killed were inside the salon, according to ABC 7, which is reporting that the driver was partially conscious and rushed to the hospital.

A barrage of heavy rain has already caused much flooding in Westchester, resulting in closures on several busy parkways, evacuation warnings, and even state of emergency declarations.

A New York man accused of opening fire on a group of people who accidentally turned down his driveway, killing a 20-year-old woman, is not cooperating with police, authorities said.
The shooting happened Saturday night, April 15, in Washington County, in the town of Hebron, located southeast of Glens Falls.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, April 17, Washington County Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy said the suspect, 65-year-old Kevin Monahan, has refused to speak to investigators about the shooting.
