During a two day stretch this week, officers in Tuckahoe issued a total of 63 summons to drivers of commercial vehicles for various vehicle and traffic violations. Police said that tickets were issued for missing safety equipment, unsafe tires, unregistered vehicles, expired inspection violations, loose or unsecured cargo, unlicensed operators, tax permit violations, improper license plates, and a dozen other miscellaneous violations.
