PELHAM, N.Y. Pelham Youth Rugby released its fall schedule featuring five tackle games for its middle school teams and two flag tournaments for the elementary school players.
The tackle team will play the following schedule:
Sunday, Sept. 30 at Greenwich
Sunday, Oct. 14 vs. Manhattan, 3 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 21 vs. Long Island (under-13 team); vs. Fairfield Prep (under-15 team), 3 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 28 vs. Greenwich, 3 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 4 vs. Manhattan, 3 p.m.
The flag team will participate in the Play Rugby USA elementary tournaments at Chelsea Waterside Park on Sunday, Oct. 14 and Sunday, Oct. 28. A culminating flag tournament for both elementary and middle school players will be held on either Saturday, Nov. 3 or Sunday, Nov. 4.
Pelham Youth Rugby is still accepting registrations here. The practice schedule is as follows on Mondays and Fridays:
Grades two through five 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Grades six through nine (flag) 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Grades six through nine (tackle) 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
