Pelham Little League Fights For Tournament Life

PELHAM, N.Y. – The Pelham Little League 11-under team fights for survival in the sectional tournament Monday night.

Pelham lost to West Nyack at Cesca Field on Saturday and must win Monday night to stay alive in the Williamsport Tournament. Pelham plays LaGrange at Cesca Field in West Nyack at 7 p.m. A loss would knock Pelham out of the double-elimination tournament.

Pelham hung in Saturday’s game, trailing 2-1 in the fourth inning. But back-to-back home runs by West Nyack extended the lead, and Pelham did not respond.
