"And we don't anticipate much more because the guys who are running have won already," John Gassler, one of the volunteers at the polls, said. "There's nothing to count really."
"It's the same names on all the tickets," Ida Petro said.
Randy Sellier, who has been a trustee since 2007, is the new Mayor. Ray Vandenberg, who has been a trustee since 2011, was reelected, and Christopher Winston, who has been on the Pelham Manor Zoning Board, joins as a trustee.
There were a few residents in and out of the Pelham Manor Fire House, where the polls were.
"It's our duty as citizens to vote, so that's why I came out," Carl Pannuti said.
Of course, when there is opposition, many more people care about casting their ballots. The uncontested race was of course very different from the turnout for the Village of Pelham elections.
