Tonnie Schaus, 34, was arraigned Wednesday in Manhattan Criminal Court on charges of reckless driving and resisting arrest.
PAPD Officer Eva Mageros was joined by Lt. Joseph Macaluso near the Manhattan entrance in trying to stop a 2007 BMW headed north on southbound Varrick Street, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.
Maculuso positioned his police cruiser to block the BMW, which went onto the sidewalk onto Dominick Street, he said
The lieutenant then caught up, blocked Schaus's car and got her out.
She had "watery, bloodshot eyes" and a flush face and smelled of alcohol, Pentangelo said.
"I don't want to go to New Jersey," she said with slurred speech, he said.
Macaluso arrested Schau after she failed three field sobriety tests, Pentangel said.
She was carrying two clear plastic vials with red screw-on caps that contained cocaine, he said.
"I didn’t do that yet,” she told officers, with whom she struggled while cursing and screaming, Pentangelo said.
Officers spotted another vial of cocaine on the seat after her passenger -- 58-year-old David Perlow -- got out, he said.
He, too, was arrested and the vehicle impounded.
Schaus, who according to her Linked In page once worked for Victoria's Secret, was charged with various offenses, including resisting arrest, reckless driving and DWI.
She was released after posting $1,500 bail.
Perlow was issued a summons for drug possession and released pending an Oct. 20 court date.
