Police: Man With Prior Conviction Drove Twice Legal Limit In Mamaroneck

A man with a prior DWI conviction is facing charges after he was allegedly caught driving at twice the legal limit in Westchester, police say.

New York State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the village of Mamaroneck for a traffic violation on Monday, March 4 around 6:30 p.m.

Further investigation revealed that the driver, 55-year-old Zoran Vukosavljevic of Bushkill, Pennsylvania, was allegedly intoxicated.

Vukosavljevic was arrested and transported to SP Tarrytown, where his BAC was tested at .19.

Since Vukosavljevic reportedly has a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years, he faces the following charges:

Aggravated driving while intoxicated, a class E felony

Multiple vehicle and traffic violations

Vukosavljevic was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets. He is scheduled to return to Mamaroneck Court on Thursday, March 21.
