WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Heavy traffic jammed southbound Interstate 95 as a result of a jackknifed tractor-trailer accident in New Rochelle on Thursday morning, according to the New York transportation officials.
Lanes were closed to clear the accident, and traffic was reportedly backed up to I-287, officials said.
The accident was between Exit 16 for Cedar Street/North Avenue and Exit 15 for Route 1/Main Street.
