PELHAM, N.Y. – Ralph Dominick 'Chic' Borsella, a resident of Pelham for 57 years, died on Monday, Aug. 10. He was 83.
Borsella was born in Mount Vernon on Nov. 10, 1931 to Ralph and Emma (Tanno) Borsella,
He graduated from New York University and served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
He owned Ralph D. Borsella Allstate Insurance Agency in the Bronx and later in Rye.
He is survived by wife, Maryalice ( Bross); five children, Roberta Farnum and her husband, Les of Charlotte, N.C., Ralph Jr. and his wife, Marguerite of New Rochelle, Victor and his wife Alice of Cortlandt Manor, Anthony and his wife Maureen, and Donna Juliano, nine grandchildren, and his sister, Eleanor Limato of Mount Vernon.
Borsella was predeceased by his his sister Yolanda Carpino and granddaughter Julianne.
Visiting hours will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catharine's Church on Friday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
