PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. -- Claudia Kiamie, of Pelham Manor, died Jan. 3. She was 71.
She was born in Brooklyn to Norman and Angela Kiamie. Kiamie graduated Hunter College with a Masters in Education, later using her degree to pursue a career as a public school teacher.
Kiamie was predeceased by her sister, Christine.
She is survived by her niece, Nicole Ciffolillo; her neighbors; and friends.
Kiamie's life will be honored and remembered from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 559 Pelham Manor Road, Pelham Manor. Her burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale.
