PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. A large tree limb blocked Boston Post Road in the area of Edgewood Avenue Thursday at 1:08 a.m. after a powerful storm whipped through the area, Pelham Manor Police said.
A driver called the Pelham Manor Police Department to alert them to the road hazard, which had to be cut up and removed by the Department of Public Works.

Heart Concerns: An employee of the Pelham Recreation Department was transported to Lawrence Hospital on Wednesday at 9:28 a.m. because he was feeling weak, looked pale and sweaty, and had stomach pains and nausea, Pelham Manor Police said. They were called to the scene and told that it was a possible heart problem. He was sitting outside on the bench when they arrived and the victim told them he previously suffered two heart attacks.
Lacerated Foot: While rushing down the stairs to call an ambulance for the victim with possible heart problems, a Pelham Recreation Department employee suffered a laceration to his right foot at Prospect Hill Elementary. The man suffered a six-inch laceration and he was transported to Lawrence Hospital for treatment.
Locked Out: A person was locked out of a car at Fairway Market on Wednesday at 10:40 a.m., prompting a call to the Pelham Manor Police Department, and assistance was given.
False Alarm: The Pelham Manor Police Department received a call from Central Alarm Company on Sunday at 12:23 p.m. about a Jackson Avenue home alarm, but police reported to the location and said it appeared secure.
