Pelham's Mud Week Program Sign-Ups Begin

PELHAM, N.Y. – The sign-ups for Mud Week Programs, weeklong sports clinics, have begun at the Richard J. Daronco Town House. Parents can sign their children up for basketball and soccer from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Thursday, which is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The program could be a solution for parents who are looking to keep their kids occupied during their time off from school.

The clinics, which run from Feb. 21 to 24, begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Kindergarteners through sophomores in high school can sign up for basketball while soccer is for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Only Pelham residents are eligible to sign up and proof of residency is mandatory when signing up. Check or money order should be made payable to Pelham Recreation.

The basketball clinic for grades three through 10 will take place at Pelham Memorial High School while the Basketball Plus Clinic for grades kindergarten through third will be at Hutchinson Elementary School. Kids will kick around the soccer ball at Prospect Hill Elementary School.

Pelham residents with questions can call the Pelham Recreation Department at 914-738-0153.
