The groups are teaming up to host the take-back day at the two police departments collection sites from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a press release.
"Mark your calendars and check that medicine cabinet. This Saturday, Oct. 26 is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day," representatives said in the release. "Anyone with unwanted, unused prescription drugs is invited to safely dispose of them by dropping them off at either the Pelham or Pelham Manor Police Departments from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m."
The service is free and anonymous and is provided by the Drug Enforcement Administration and locally sponsored by PACT in partnership with the Pelham and Pelham Manor Police Departments.
