Pelham Police Department: Suspicious Male at Train

PELHAM, N.Y. – An observant person called the Pelham Police Department after noticing a suspicious black male at the Metro-North train station at 6:41 p.m. Friday. The man, in his 20s, was wearing a beige hoodie and black jeans while walking on the south side platform, police said.

Two sergeants and an officer responded to the scene, but the person boarded the train before they got there. The New Rochelle Police Department and MTA Police Department were told of the complaints and given a description of the man.

The Pelham Police Department also reported:

Loud noise: The department responded to a Pelhamdale Avenue home at 3:34 a.m. Thursday because the residents heard a “loud noise in their home and were concerned,” police said. The officers checked the location and said all was in order, police said.
