PELHAM, N.Y. An observant person called the Pelham Police Department after noticing a suspicious black male at the Metro-North train station at 6:41 p.m. Friday. The man, in his 20s, was wearing a beige hoodie and black jeans while walking on the south side platform, police said.
Two sergeants and an officer responded to the scene, but the person boarded the train before they got there. The New Rochelle Police Department and MTA Police Department were told of the complaints and given a description of the man.
The Pelham Police Department also reported:
Toothache: A Pelham police officer reported to a Sixth Avenue apartment Thursday for a woman suffering from a toothache, police said. She was transported by ambulance to the Sound Shore emergency room for an evaluation.
Loud noise: The department responded to a Pelhamdale Avenue home at 3:34 a.m. Thursday because the residents heard a loud noise in their home and were concerned, police said. The officers checked the location and said all was in order, police said.
Disabled car: A Good Samaritan called the department at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday because she thought there was a car accident at Boulevard and Corlies Avenue. The officer who went to the scene said it was just a disabled vehicle who had help on the way.
Leg pains: An officer responded to a Second Avenue home at 10:53 a.m. Tuesday where a man was experiencing pain to both legs, police said. He was transported by ambulance to Sound Shore Medical Center.
