PELHAM, N.Y. A Harmon Avenue alarm went off on Monday at 1:32 p.m. and ADT Security notified the Pelham Police Department. The department also received a call from the homeowner who stated that her sister, the suspect, was at the house and she and her mother had an order of protection against her.
All of the units were dispatched and the suspect was told to leave the premises and never to come back or she would be arrested for criminal contempt.
Also on the police blotter:
- A victim of larceny called the Pelham Police Department Headquarters on Sunday at 12:59 a.m. after she noticed that change was taken from his car. The change was stolen sometime on Saturday evening, according to the victim. He told the police that his car, which was parked in his driveway, was not locked.
- Two Pelham police officers were sent to 190 Boulevard on Sunday at 9:10 a.m. because a suspicious vehicle was parked in front with a white male inside. Once police arrived, a DMV registration and license check of the suspect and her vehicle revealed expired registration and suspended license for failure to pay a fine and/or answer a summons. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Pelham police headquarters. Summonses were issued for expired registration and inspection, which were to be paid by Feb. 23 at 6:00 p.m. The suspect posted a $100 bail and was released. Westchester Collision was notified and her vehicle was towed to the impound yard.
- A man attempted to buy food at Villagios Pizzeria by using a counterfeit $20 bill. He was described as a white male in his late 30s, approximately 58 and weighing 230 pounds, who was wearing a red jacket. The man left with the bill traveling south on Wolfs Lane. A Pelham sergeant canvassed the area, but results were negative.
