Pelham Library Licks Heat With Ice Cream Fridays

PELHAM, N.Y. – Pelham children wanting to cool off on Friday have the chance to make ice cream at the Pelham Public Library. The program, called “Wondergy,” also serves as the kickoff for the library’s Summer Reading Game.

“Help us bring together fresh cream, milk, flavorings of your choice, and of course, liquid nitrogen to make the freshest homemade ice cream you’ve ever tasted,” says a flier announcing the event.

While there is a 30 percent chance for isolated thunderstorms on Friday, the temperature and humidity are expected to reach 88 degrees and 57 percent, respectively, according to weather.com.

People with questions may call the library at 914-738-1234.
