PELHAM, N.Y. - The Village of Pelham Department of Public Works started taking down the wreaths throughout the town on Thursday. While the wreaths lined the sidewalks throughout Pelham during December, the holiday season is now over and we are faced with the reality of winter in 2012.
Two workers were taking down wreaths along Fifth Avenue by the Pelham Railroad Station. One of the workers, named Anthony, stated that the process would take a day and a half.
Also, the Village will be picking up Christmas trees on the curbs till January 31, 2012. All decorations must be removed and then it will be collected at the curb. If you have any questions, call Village Hall at 914-738-2015.
