Domestic Dispute Boils Over in Pelham Manor

PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. – A Pelham Manior man asked for an order of protection against his wife after a domestic dispute reached a boiling point, police said.

The man returned home from work Thursday around 1 a.m. and his wife accused him of cheating on her, according to the police report. She threw his clothes outside the house and scratched his stomach.

Police reports said officers arrived to find the two arguing outside their house, but the man said he didn’t want to pursue criminal charges.

The couple then had another altercation Friday at 11 p.m., police said. After the man said he had a lawyer, his wife became irate and she hit her husband several times, opening a cut on his neck.

The man told police that he still did not want to press charges but asked for an order of protection. The police completed a domestic incident report and then took the man back to his house to pick up some personal items.
