Beat The Heat With A Movie At The Pelham Library

PELHAM, N.Y. -- With the summer's first real heat wave under way, the Pelham Public Library is offering children and their caregivers a break from the high temperatures.

The library will screen the movie "How to Eat Fried Worms" on Friday at 1 p.m. 

The movie, based on Thomas Rockwell's novel with the same name, is for children ages 8 and up.

The movie tells the story of 11-year-old Billy, who goes up against the school bully in a challenge that ends in a bet that Billy will eat 10 worms in one day. 

No reservations are required.
