Police Ramp Up Patrols After Fox Attacks In Yorktown Police have increased patrols and are reminding residents to remain vigilant after three people were bitten by a fox in Yorktown. The first attack occurred at 6 a.m. Saturday, when a jogger was bitten by a fox on Lee Boulevard. A second man was bitten in his backyard on North Deerfield Road at 8:30 a.m., and on Sunday at 12:30 p.m., a woman was bitten in her backyard. All three are receiving preventive rabies treatment.
