The Dutchess County incident happened at around 12:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, in the village of Wappingers Falls, at a single-family home on Brick Row near Mill Street. Firefighters are working at a fire and building collapse with several streets closed around Mesier Park, according to the Dutchess County Emergency Management department. Four-Alarm Fire Breaks Out In Three-Story Building, Causing Road Closures In Area Several roads are closed as firefighters battle a four-alarm blaze in a three-story building with businesses and apartments in the area. The fire began around 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 24 in Dutchess County at 10 Market St., in Wappingers Falls, officials said. The building includes 10 apartments and at least three businesses, including Mario's Sandwich Company and TJ's Barbershop, among others. Man, Woman Struck While In Crosswalk In Area, Police Say State Police are investigating after a man and woman were struck by a vehicle while crossing a busy roadway in the area. The incident took place around 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18 in Village of Wappingers Falls while the two were crossing in a crosswalk on West Main Street at the intersection with West Street, said Wappingers Falls Police Lt.
