Man Accused Of Stealing Thousands While Posing As Rent Collector In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley man is wanted for posing as a rent collector for his landlord, pocketing $3,500 in the process.  Sean P. Tully, 56, is wanted in Dutchess County by the town of Amenia Court on charges of third-degree larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle, said state police.  Police said Tully has tied to Rockland County and possibly the state of Arizona. Woman, 22, Nabbed After Westchester Stolen Car Chase, Police Say A 22-year-old woman was busted by police in Westchester driving a car reported stolen out of New Jersey. A Scarsdale Police officer on patrol at approximately 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, July 19 was monitoring Carthage Road following multiple vehicles being stolen from the area, police said. While on patrol, the officer spotted a vehicle parked and occupied with the engine running and amber lights on in the front of the vehicle. Year-Long Investigation Leads To Auto Theft Charge For Area Man A Pleasant Valley man was arrested for alleged auto theft following a yearlong investigation into the incident. Matthew R. Mcclay, 22, was charged Friday, June 14, in connection with the incident that allegedly took place in April 2018, said Rhinebeck Police Sgt. Peter Dunn. Mcclay was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, forgery of a vehicle ID number, auto stripping and unauthorized use of a vehicle, Dunn said. He was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on $1,500 cash bail. Mcclay is scheduled to appear in court on July 10.
