The two German shepherds – one male and one female – were found by a good Samaritan in Coxsackie, between River Road and the New York State Thruway, on Thursday, Jan. 22, New Baltimore Animal Hospital shared on Facebook. Person Lying On Tracks Rescued At Croton-Harmon Train Station Rail traffic at a Northern Westchester train station was temporarily halted when an unconscious person was found lying on the tracks, fire officials said.  The incident happened on Thursday, Feb. 15 around 2:45 p.m., when Croton-on-Hudson firefighters and police as well as MTA Police found an unconscious person on the tracks, the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department announced on Friday night, Feb. 16.  Metro-North officials then stopped rail traffic and disconnected power to the high-voltage third rail, allowing rescuers to reach the person.
