Lane Closures To Slow Traffic On This Westchester Parkway For Several Nights
Traffic on a busy parkway in Westchester will soon be affected by a series of planned overnight lane closures. Two lanes in both directions of the Cross County Parkway in Eastchester between Exit 8 (State Route 22) and the Hutchinson River Parkway will close nightly between Sunday, Sept. 24, and Thursday, Sept. 28, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. Rollover Crash: Person Hospitalized, Main Road Closed In Somers
A vehicle rollover in Northern Westchester left one person hospitalized and caused a main road to be briefly closed to traffic. The crash happened on Saturday, May 27 around 3 p.m., when first responders in Somers were sent to Route 139 between Plumbrook Road and Van Rensselaer Road for a reported vehicle rollover, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department.
