Popular Area Restaurant Closes After 14 Years In Business A favorite spot for foodies across the area who loved the tasting nights and other staples has closed its doors for good. The Artist's Palate, tucked into a row of businesses on Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie, had offered vegetarian and imaginative regional plates for the past 14 years.
