Know Him? Man Steals Cart Full Of Groceries From Westchester Supermarket, Flees, Cops Say
Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of walking out of a Westchester County supermarket with a cart full of groceries and not paying. The incident happened at around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, at the ACME supermarket located at 261 South Ridge St. in Rye Brook, Port Chester Police said on Wednesday, March 4. According to investigators, the suspect filled a shopping cart with groceries and left the store without paying before fleeing on foot toward the parking lot. Popular Numbing Cream Recalled: Here's Why
Thousands of tattoo numbing cream containers are being recalled because their packaging fails to meet child-safety standards. Mad Rabbit is recalling about 28,000 of its "RELIEVE" Lidocaine Numbing Cream packages, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, Sept. 25. The cream contains lidocaine, which must be sold in child-resistant packaging under federal law. Popular Business Owner From Northern Westchester Dies At 57
James T. Maryniak, a Hudson Valley business owner who grew up in Westchester County, has died at the age of 57. According to his obituary, Maryniak was born in New Rochelle and grew up in South Salem. He later moved to Wappingers Falls. He owned Middletown Tattoo, Tattooz Forever, and Exotic Fish & Kustom Aquariums in Wappingers Falls. Maryniak was an artist who loved tattooing, airbrushing and teaching his grandsons how to draw.
