A man was caught red-handed attempting to shoplift items at an Armonk CVS, police said. Officers from the North Castle Police Department were dispatched to CVS on Main Street shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, where there was a report of a shoplifting incident. When approached by store employees, the suspect turned over the merchandise before taking off in the direction of DeCicco’s. Police said that the employees described the suspect as an African-American man in his 30s. He was wearing a green hat and white t-shirt with shorts when he ran off. Police Probe Suspicious Incident Involving 'Stolen' Range Rover In Northern Westchester
Police in Northern Westchester investigated a suspicious incident in which a woman reported a red Range Rover had been stolen from an Armonk driveway. Members of the North Castle Police Department received the call from a Florida area code shortly before 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8. The caller, who identified herself as “Dr. Christine Hall,” said that her car had been stolen from a Day Road residence in the past two days.
