Mamaroneck Fatal Domestic Incident Case Heads To Grand Jury
The attorney for Cynthia Arce, who tried to kill two Mamaroneck police officers who were attempting to save her dying 2-year-old daughter, is letting the case proceed to a grand jury who will decide whether to indict her. Drive To Raise Funds For Funeral Expenses Of Deceased Westchester Toddler
Good hearted residents and friends of the slain Mamaroneck toddler who died on Saturday during a domestic dispute have started a GoFundMe page to help her father, Steven Boyd, cover funeral expenses. Gabriella' Boyd died tragically when police were called to a domestic incident involving her knife-wielding mother at the 2 1/2-year-old girl's grandmother's home. Police found Gabriella injured and when two officers tried to help her, they were stabbed by her mother before an officer shot and injured her. Mother Refused Court Order To Hand Over Child Day Before Death, Lawyer Says
A knife-wielding mother, who was later shot by police after they found her toddler severely injured, refused to turn over the child under a court order a day before the child died, officials said.
