Date For Gun Buyback Initiative Announced In Peekskill Peekskill Police Department is sponsored a "gun buyback" initiative aimed at collecting unused weapons that might end up in the hands of children or criminals. The Gun Buyback Day runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 at the United Methodist Church, 1040 Main St. in Peekskill.
