Hudson Valley Gets $38M For ‘Environmentally Friendly’ Pedestrian, Biking Projects The Hudson Valley is set to receive more than $38 million in federal funding to help pay for new pedestrian and biking projects around the region. Man Faces Felony DWI Charge After Flat Tire Prompts Police Response In Town Of Poughkeepsie A Dutchess County driver got an untimely flat tire while traveling through Poughkeepsie, leading to his arrest for his second DWI, police said. Officers from the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department were dispatched to the area of Raymond Avenue near New Hackensack Road shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 3, where there was a report of a disabled vehicle whose driver required assistance.
