Putnam Lake firefighters, along with the Patterson Fire Department, responded to the fire in Putnam Lake at 4 Kingston Road around 1:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 24, for a report of a structure fire, the department said. Arriving firefighters quickly confirmed a working fire at the unoccupied home that was under construction and requested a second alarm, the department said. Truck Crashes Into House In Putnam Residents of a home where a tree-service truck slammed into their Patterson smashed were lucky that no one was injured. The incident took place around 11:57 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, on Newport Road in the Putnam Lake section, said members of the Putnam Lakes Fire Department.
